Nursing nightmares

Harper started off well in the nursing department but has taken a slight set back. She has been blessed with a heart-shaped tongue and therefore she thrusts instead of sucks. She is not getting a good latch and therefore, lots of gas. I got some advice from my nurse friend Ashby on how to train her tongue to work properly and things are looking up. It has helpd immensly and I feel very lucky to have such talented friends to help out. She got babysat by Gram on Saturday May 10th and did great with the bottle so we are much happier. It is a great feeling to know that I can have some time away and do not have to worry if she is going to get what she needs. While Gram was watching her, she discovered something CRAZY...Haprers first tooth! Yes, I I am in trouble. I was shocked to find not only 1 but 2 teeth starting to come through! Insane.
