Hospital follow-up

Saturday April 5th
We are home with our new bundle of joy! They had no private rooms so I could only stand the hospital for one night. We shared a room with the loudest snorers and got next to no sleep there so we decided to book it. It was different coming back to my parents place without my mom there to help out with cooking, cleaning, laundry and so on but I think we did fairly well with all things considering! Harper is home healthy and beautiful...yipee. She left the hospital at 8 pounds 11 ounces.

Monday April 7th
We had our follow-up visit with Dr. Kendall today and Harper is healthy at 9 pounds 12 ounces and 21.5 inches long. I am feeling good and happy that she is finally here. The staff at the Riverside family health centre were so happy to finally meet her. She will be seen again for her 2 month check-up.
