Labour has begun!

Wednesday March 5th
Cobtractions began at about 3:15pm and Brad and I travelled to the hospital at around 6:30pm. They hooked me up to the monitor and contractions were coming 2-2.5 minutes apart. The doctor made a few comments...first, "that is no small baby" and "I'm not sending you home". The last commment was followed by "but I still have to do an internal to see how dialated you are. Then came the bad news - a finger tip dialated and sent home with the option of pain medication but I choose Tylenol.

Friday March 6th
No baby yet! My ankles have started to swell. Auntie Stepf and her BFF Kaleigh arrived for a few days of much needed help to me. They cleaned the house, we shopped, go snowed in and had dinner at East Sides (Brad and the girls did!) I am still contracting but no baby.

Wednesday March 12th
Stronger contractions began around 3:15pm and we visited the hospital (again) around 6:30pm. Not much more progress so we were sent home. I fell like this baby is NEVER coming. I am very uncomfotable and anxious for baby to get here!

Thursday March 13th
Off to the hosital again! A little bit of progress with 1cm dialation and cervix semi-short and soft...yipee! Ruru took me to St.Laurent to walk and shop.
